Charlie Cinema Award - honouring the independent film creators, who defy fashions and trends dominating the pop culture, mockers and the ones who expose myths and stereotypes of the mass imagination of Polish people.

In year 2002 Golden Boot was awarded to:
, mocker and the one that uncovers our national faults, unmasks in his works (drawings, films, and anecdote films) hypocrisy of our moral poses and social behaviours.
, the most extreme filmmaker of our Festival, who as one of the firsts in Poland touched the "forbidden regions", connected with carnality ("Intimate Rites") and cultural stereotypes, making a great impression ("LEGO Concentration Camp"), rebelling against mass culture.
for the film "Starkers", for radicalism and courage in breaking the artistic conventions.
Golden Boot Ceremony took place in Charlie Cinema on Saturday 25th of May 2002, at 7pm.
